Early in her career, she faced a serious health issue that taught her the importance of balance. “I’ve adopted the motto, ‘rest, don’t quit,’” she shares. “When I feel overwhelmed, I pause, reset, and refocus. Rest allows me to continue this work with energy and purpose.”
Looking to the future, Amanda hopes to grow Embellished Weddings’ presence in the luxury and destination wedding market. She’s also creating an online course for new planners who want to start their own businesses. “The future of Embellished Weddings is about building a legacy,” she says. “Not just through beautiful events, but through lasting impact across the wedding industry.”
No matter how many weddings the team plans, Amanda says the magic never fades. “The moment that never loses its power is seeing everything come together on the wedding day,” she says. “Watching a couple see their vision brought to life still gives me goosebumps.” Her ultimate goal is for every couple to feel joyful, present, and free from stress. “We want our couples to know their wedding truly reflected their story,” Amanda says. “And we want them to feel cared for in every detail.”
